Accuracy

The Editors, GOLF MAGAZINE Fairway woods are like farmers. They're not flashy, but they're reliable, earning their keep by getting down and dirty. The Adams Tight Lies GT can get down and dirty with the best of them.
The Editors, GOLF MAGAZINE The Tight Lies also work well on most misses.
Steve Critelli Slight off-center hits go pretty far and straight, but bigger mis-hits don't correct as well.
Distance
The Editors, GOLF MAGAZINE Distance stirs a difference of opinion. ...Higher handicappers, however, seem to get a little more yardage.
Jon Tate These hit the ball slightly shorter than mine.
Feel
The Editors, GOLF MAGAZINE Regardless of skill level, players agree on the feel -- subtle yet crisp at impact, without twisting.
Robert Rex Record Not a big marshmallow impact, more like Lucky Charms: soft with some crunch.
Playability
The Editors, GOLF MAGAZINE The company designed its "upside-down" clubface, in part, to lower the center of gravity and send the ball airborne from a variety of lies. Mission accomplished, according to testers. ...While the clubs help get the ball into the air, they don't cause shots to balloon.
George Irwin The 7-wood got me out of a buried lie in the rough with no extra effort.
Hoai Hoang They produce a more penetrating ball flight than the original Tight Lies.

Customer Review
Adams redline driver

Just got fitted with an Adams redline driver after extensive testing on a launch monitor. I compared it to the Cobra 440 cc and the Cleveland 460 but testing revealed that my best results were with the Adams which was fitted with an Aldila NV shaft. Upon using it for the first time on the course yesterday I honestly hit 4-5 of the best drives I've ever hit , long and straight. Love it when a plan comes together !

Adams redline driver

I fight a hook and was told to try this club & being a lefty just bought one. Straight ball flight med -high trajectory. I put a stiffer shaft in because you CANNOT go after it with standard one, has improved my accuracy greatly & plenty long.Size{460cc} is big but is a pretty club sets up nice& square. You can find a good deal on these clubs but even at retail its a good value for what it does for your golf game. Fairways mean more Greens Period.

Adams Tight Lies GT 363 TI Driver

The driver is only as good as shaft. The shaft that comes stock isn't very good. If you don't believe me go to Adams web site and look at the spec's on the GT  compared to the Red line, what your looking for is the amount of tip torque. If your swing speed is over 105 try the Proforce 65 stiff mid flex point 3.5 tip torque. This was recommended to me by a local fitting pro. When I re-shafted my Driver I was finally was able to start working the ball. I also would recommend that you re-shaft your 3 and 5 wood with the same shaft you put on your Driver. Good luck I hope I was able to help Don

Adams Tight Lies GT 363 TI Driver

I bought this driver based purely on reviews on this site and others. To start with I was slightly disappointed with the club as I had assumed I would find more fairways - distance was not really an issue with me. In actual fact I am still hooking and slicing the ball on occasion (which is a fault of my swing - not the club), but I did not find it as forgiving as many of the other contributors here. Distance is awesome, with me rarely having to use anything longer than an 7-8 iron to the green on a par 4. I am extremely impressed with it and have no intention of getting rid of it. I have gone from 14 to 10 in approx 12 weeks. However, there is one down side. The small plug on the sole (is this called a 'plus'?) has fallen out after only about 3 months - I bought the club via eBay and Adams Australia do not want to know anything about this fault as the club was not bought from an authorized Adams dealer. I am disappointed with this as the club was brand new when I bought it - it is obviously a production fault. I do not know if this missing plug will affect performance, but it may cause dirt and water to enter the head (I have a small piece of tape covering the hole now). It will certainly affect resale price. Hence the reduced star value for overall rating. Incidentally, the club retails in Australia for around $599. I got the club for $265 aust. which seemed to be good value.
